Royal London Asset Management names former Achitas boss as next CEO

Royal London Asset Management has named Hans Georgeson as its chief executive, replacing Andrew Carter who will retire in June from the helm of the £148bn asset manager.

Georgeson previously worked at Axa Group, where he spent 10 years as CEO of its Architas Asset Management business, which is responsible for overseeing £40bn of client assets across 12 countries in Europe and Asia. He stepped down from the position in January 2020.

He was previously an executive director at Gerrard Investment Management, and ran a retail trading business earlier in his career.
