Danny Dyer and Katherine Ryan have shared their frustrations at not being able to get intimate with their partners in lockdown due to their kids’ disgust.
Katherine is the latest guest on Sorted With The Dyers, Danny’s podcast with daughter Dani Dyer, and she shared her tales of woe.
Danny revealed that his 13-year-old daughter Sunnie Jo keeps getting offended at him and Joanne Mas kissing around the house.
He explained: ‘She keeps on catching us tonguing. We’re trying to nick a moment because we’ve got kids up our a**e constantly. It’s hard to have a roll about.’
Katherine, who has 12-year-old daughter Violet, totally empathised with Danny after finding the same struggles with husband Bobby Koostra.
She added: ‘This is exactly the problem for a lot of the nation. I don’t know if you’ve addressed this issue but what’s your advice on that?
‘Because my husband and I are the same. She’s just on us like a spy. They’re so disgusted at age twelve, thirteen, and I don’t know what to do.’
Danny agreed: ‘They’re really repulsed, she doesn’t think it goes on in the day.’
Katherine revealed that she and Bobby can’t even enjoy some alone time at night as Violet is ‘up later than we are.’
She revealed: ‘Our house was a bandit country as well, there were no rules in the first lockdown.’
When Dani suggested a lock on the bedroom door might help, Danny told them: ‘We were having lasagne at three in the morning, getting up when they wanted. Yeah, we got a couple of locks, but then it’s obvious why you’re in there.’
